When Charles Dickens was writing his beloved Christmas tales, Grant Goodrich was building Chicago-founding Northwestern University, serving as alderman, and practicing law alongside Abraham Lincoln. He commissioned The Goodrich Family in America, documenting our lineage back to Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire, England.
